The college basketball season is over and the NBA Playoffs are underway. Teams not in the playoffs are already looking ahead to the draft, so now is as good of a time as any to look ahead. Here is the 2019 NBA Mock Draft May 1. The draft order is from NBADraft.net.

1. New York Knicks- Zion Williamson, F, Duke

Williamson has gotten to show off his skills at Duke this season. He is really athletic, but is more than just a highlight reel player. The Knicks got their point guard via the Kristaps Porzingis trade in Dennis Smith Jr. and can now pair him with Williamson to start to build a core.

2. Cleveland Cavaliers- R.J. Barrett, G/F, Duke

Barrett has a polished offensive game, but does need to distribute the ball more. The Cavaliers took their point guard, Collin Sexton, in last year’s draft, so they can get a nice young wing player to go with him.

3. Phoenix Suns- Ja Morant, PG, Murray State

Morant may have gone to a small school, but proved he could play with the best of them in NCAA Tournament. He’s got great athleticism and sets up his teammates well. Phoenix needs a point guard to run the team next to Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton.
