E-WIN Champion Series Gaming Chair Review

gave TGH the opportunity to review their Champion Series Gaming Chair, I jumped at the opportunity.
Again, this review is coming from someone who’s been primarily a couch gamer and coffee shop lurker, so my experience with chairs like these is limited to non-existent. However, I’m starting to see why people invest in them after receiving E-WIN’s.
The box arrived in good condition, and it had the appropriate signage on it; i.e., it wasn’t some sort of big, scary unmarked package. I live at the top of a three-story walk-up, and the dimensions of it made it too hard to carry up myself. If you order this chair and are in a situation like mine, have a friend on hand because it’s a bit heavy. That’s not a criticism, just something to mention.
Assembly was decently easy, however, packaged with the chair were instructions for a different product of theirs. About halfway through assembling it, I had to sort of wing it and use common sense to finish the job, because the raising/lowering mechanism on the instruction card was completely different.
All-in-all, though, it wasn’t too big of a pain. Once you get going, this chair is pretty easy to put together. They also include extra screws and other small bits just in case you lose some, which is nice. It probably took around 30 minutes in total.
Instead of a lever like a regular office chair, it has a sort of switch that you flip when you want to adjust the height. On the other side is a lock what I’m assuming is rocking, but I haven’t noticed much of a difference either way.
As far as reclining goes, there are a bevy of options here. At it’s most acute, the E-WIN sits at 85 degrees, but can be reclined all the way to 155 degrees. That’s pretty crazy to me, as someone who hasn’t ever owned a chair like this. Common office chairs I’m familiar with just recline a bit, but you could
take a nap in this chair, flat on your back.
