Explorer is the format most competitive players are looking towards to serve as the closest format to paper MTG’s Pioneer format. Slowly but Wizards has added cards to the format with Explorer Anthology bundles.

These bundles are created to inject certain cards into Arena without adding them to Standard. On Friday June 30, Wizards of the Coast announced the release of Explorer Anthology 3.

This new anthology set is ushering in 25 new cards to the Explorer format. Better yet, these cards will equally be legal in Historic formats.

The Explorer Anthology 3 release date is set for July 18.

The bundle will be avilable until October 18. After that, players will have to use wildcard to craft any card from Explorer Anthology 3.
